Delivery and returns for clip on sunglasses

Same day despatch during weekdays

We aim for same day despatch of clip on sunglasses by Royal Mail 24 of orders received by 12:00 pm Monday to Friday. Royal Mail 24 aims to deliver mail the next working day. 

Orders received after 12:00 pm will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders received on the weekend or on bank holidays will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders from outside the UK

Please note that there are currently delays in mail being processed at customs due to new customs checks related to the UK being outside the EU. Items are taking 3 - 4 weeks to be processed before they are passed to the mail service in the destination country for delivery to your door.

How we communicate with you about your order

We will use the email address you have specified when placing your order as the means of communicating with you about any items relating to your order, exchanges, or refunds. 

Therefore you please provide us with an email address which you check regularly in case we need to contact you about the status of your order.

Weekends and bank holidays

We do not dispatch on weekends or Bank Holidays, nor does Royal Mail deliver goods on Bank Holidays.

What if an item is out of stock?

Occasionally at times of peak demand, an item ordered may be out of stock, in which case we will contact you promptly by email to advise how long your order will take to supply. Where available we will also offer you a choice between an alternative model that is in stock, or a full refund.

        How to return an item to us

        You will need to pay the cost of posting the clip on sunglasses back to us unless the goods were faulty or unless we have made an error in sending them to you.

        You may wish to pay the small amount extra to use a recorded postal service so that you are covered in the event of loss or damage during mail delivery. We can only process your refund when we receive your returned order.

        Please include a copy of your receipt and a note requesting a refund.

        Returning an item to us outside the return period

        If you return an item you have purchased from us outside the 2 week return period, we will assess your return as to whether it can be refunded or partially refunded.

        In calculating your refund amount we will take into consideration:

        • the condition of the items you are returning
        • whether you kept other items in the order or sent them all back
        • the length of time over the return period up to the date we receive the returned item(s)

        The minimum charge for late returns is £5.00.

        Processing your refund

        We will process your refund within 7 days of us receiving your returned goods and will email you to inform you. Refunds can only be credited to the card that was used for the original purchase.

        We are unable to refund custom made products including lenses made to your requirements unless they are faulty. 

        Refunds exclude international shipping and all premium rate priority postal services, such as Special Delivery.

        Eligibility for refund

        While we recognise that you need to inspect the clip on sunglasses in order to check that they fit your glasses, we ask you to handle them carefully to minimise any fingerprints on the lenses or damage to the clip-on mechanism.

        Please do not remove any product labels unless you intend to keep the clip-ons.

        We cannot give a refund on returned clip-on sunglasses that you have had adjusted or reshaped in any way either by yourself or a third party in order to modify the fitting.

        Please return all goods carefully packed in their original packaging.

        Please note that Eyewear Accessories will not accept responsibility for any damage to clip on sunglasses or cases or to the wearer’s prescription glasses if this occurs as a result of you failing to follow our care and safety guidelines as shown on this website, a copy of which is also enclosed with every order for your reference.

        Important note about returns from outside the UK

        You must specify on the customs declaration:

        • Goods returned under warranty - no commercial value
        • Value of the goods = £0.00.

        This means that no customs duties are charged when the goods arrive in the UK.

        Please note that in any event, Eyewear Accessories will not accept any incoming package or provide a refund unless there is no customs duty payable or it has already been paid by the sender.
