How to use Jaws Quick Fit anti-fog spray to reduce lens fogging

Jaws Quick Spit

Jaws Quick Fit is an anti-fog spray that you can apply to most kinds of lenses to reduce the amount they steam up.

Since the introduction of face masks, lens fogging has been a widespread problem and Quick Fit provides a reliable and safe way to keep your spectacle lenses clearer.

Quick Spit is manufactured using only natural ingredients and so it is safe to use on eyewear. However, if any of it is sprayed accidentally in the eyes, wash them immediately with water.

Quick Spit anti-fog spray works with wet or dry applications. Please follow the appropriate user instructions below and also take the time to read caution warnings on the label to ensure that you only use Quick Spit as directed.

Do not use too much – it will be counter-productive!

Only use a tiny amount of Quick Spit for each lens. Using larger quantities of Quick Spit than recommended DOES NOT improve its performance and is counter-productive.

How to use Jaws on your spectacles and moisture chamber glasses

These are the instructions to follow to give enhanced anti-fog protection on everyday spectacles, sunglasses, sports glasses, windproof and moisture chamber glasses, and safety glasses.

  • Before applying Quick Spit, ensure that the lens to be treated is clean and dry, with no dust particles or finger prints. Anti-fog spray performs better on a smooth, clean lens and if the lens is dust-free, it is unlikely to get scratched.
  • Spray a VERY SMALL amount of Quick Spit on the inside of the lens.
  • You may find it easier to apply a small quantity of Quick Spit to a clean, lint free cloth and then use this to transfer a thin layer of gel onto each lens.
  • Allow it to dry (approximately 5-10 minutes).
  • Gently buff each lens surface with a clean, lint free, soft lens cloth until the lenses are clear and no haze is left. Do not over buff as this will be counter-productive and do not rinse the lenses in water.
  • Your glasses now have enhanced anti-fog protection. You’re ready to go.
